K-On - Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama Revisit

Yet another location shown in episode 4 of the second season of K-On I revisited was the Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama.

The park is also known as Iwatayama Monkey Park or just Arashiyama Monkey Park, but the sign outside now calls it Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama at least.

Your Name - Train Crossing

I also checked out a bunch of Your Name locations in Nagano, starting with the train crossing that was supposedly shown in the movie, which is located close to Otabe Station in real life. Image from Your Name - 10m56s This is the angle that seems to match the most compared to what was shown in the movie, but the screenshot is flipped and there's some elements missing. Image from Your Name - 10m56s This is the screenshot as shown in the movie. You can see the similar looking metal utility box in the picture here. Image from Your Name - 31m08s I also took a picture from the opposite side so the metal utility box position matches when the screenshot is flipped. Image from Your Name - 31m08s There's a sign with a 7 on it here, but it's not in the same location as in the movie. Image from Your Name - 31m08s I also took a picture from the road, then the metal utility box position matches, but the road and railway track is switched. Flying Witch - Manga Covers

Although I don't normally do manga locations, I did check out some of the locations shown on the Flying Witch covers this time. Flying Witch Cover 1 This is at a shrine named Gankisan Shrine. I've marked this location in the map below. Flying Witch Cover 2 This is at Hirosaki Park on the other side of the moat from the bench shown in the anime. Flying Witch Cover 5 This is at the entrance of the house where Nao lives . Flying Witch Cover 6 And finally, this is down by the river near the nursery school close to the bridge shown in the anime OP. Location map: These locations were visited on 2019/04/24 and 2019/04/25. Girls und Panzer - Tank Club Shop

The Tank Club Shop in episode 2 of Girls und Panzer is based on a real place in Tokyo, so I went to have a look. The closest train station is Ichigaya Station. Image from Episode 2 - 09m12s The building still looks the same. Image from Episode 2 - 09m10s Unfortunately the shop itself, which was called Norimono Club in real life, closed down in 2017. It was run by the publisher Ikaros Publications which still is located here. Image from Episode 2 - 09m18s There's no buildings on the other side of the street in real life.
