K-On - Arashiyama Walk

In episode 4 of the second season of K-On, everybody gets lost in Arashiyama while trying to get back to their hotel, so I checked out the locations. There's several train stations in the area including the JR Saga-Arashiyama Station, Keifuku Arashiyama Station and Hankyu Arashiyama Station.

This is on the north side of the Togetsukyo Bridge. You can see the bridge on the right here.

The final location is another utility pole. I've marked a path going through all the locations and ending up here in the map below.

While walking around I also saw this Puella Magi Madoka Magica cardboard cutout.

And this Keifuku Randen x Kaohsiung MRT collaboration stamp rally stand.

Your Name - Train Crossing

I also checked out a bunch of Your Name locations in Nagano, starting with the train crossing that was supposedly shown in the movie, which is located close to Otabe Station in real life. Image from Your Name - 10m56s This is the angle that seems to match the most compared to what was shown in the movie, but the screenshot is flipped and there's some elements missing. Flying Witch - Manga Covers

Although I don't normally do manga locations, I did check out some of the locations shown on the Flying Witch covers this time. Flying Witch Cover 1 This is at a shrine named Gankisan Shrine. I've marked this location in the map below. Flying Witch Cover 2 This is at Hirosaki Park on the other side of the moat from the bench shown in the anime. Flying Witch Cover 5 This is at the entrance of the house where Nao lives . Girls und Panzer - Tank Club Shop

The Tank Club Shop in episode 2 of Girls und Panzer is based on a real place in Tokyo, so I went to have a look. The closest train station is Ichigaya Station.
