K-On - School Music Rooms

I also checked out the school music rooms on 3F of the old Toyosato Elementary School, in addition to the outsides and the insides.

Image from S1E1 - 02m42s

This is the room where the light music club resides in the show.

Reverse view.

Image from S2E23 - 05m06s

This whiteboard, which you could see in the previous pictures, got lots of fan drawings and messages on it.

And next to the whiteboard there was also an area with guestbooks.

Lots of signatures in the current guestbook.

And drawings.

I also signed.

Image from S1E12 - 08m27s

This bench is different than in the show.

Image from S1E1 - 18m50s

Yui sitting on the bench in the first episode.

Image from S1E5 - 14m01s

Side view. The windows here are different as well.

Image from S2E22 - 18m43s

But the view from the windows matches.

Image from S1E2 - 20m55s

There's desks set up here in real life too.

Image from S1E6 - 11m28s

With cake and teacups.

Image from S2E16 - 00m03s

The spot where Azusa sits with her special teacup.

Image from S1E12 - 07m11s

The desks are in a slightly different spot.

Image from S2E1 - 16m24s

The recessed area near the door doesn't exist in real life. You can see some other people who were also visiting the school building at the same time in this picture.

Image from S2E2 - 16m04s

Closeup of the door, which leads to a small room.

Image from S2E2 - 04m12s

Inside the small room there's a cabinet that looks similar to the one shown in the anime.

Image from S2E2 - 15m04s

On the other side here there is a sink instead of shelves.

Image from S1E12 - 03m38s

They've also got a clothes rack with costumes in here.

Image from S2E7 - 19m21s

The small room connects the room the light music club uses with the music room stage here.

Image from S1E1 - 06m54s

Image from S2E7 - 19m53s

Full view of the stage, which is shown in both seasons of the anime.

Image from S2E7 - 16m18s

This is where they hold the party for the Mio fan club. If you look closely you can see some guitars here.

Closeup of the guitars.

Image from S1E1 - 06m58s

Image from S2E7 - 19m15s

View of the rest of the music room.

There were some K-On flyers on the whiteboard in the room.

Image from S1E1 - 07m20s

The door into the music room is a single one in real life.

Next to the door was this ad board with a drawing of Yui.

Image from S1E1 - 07m40s

Ritsu tries to get Mugi to join the light music club here.

Image from S2E12 - 00m12s

I also got this shot of the sports field behind the building from one of the windows of the music room. This is a part of the new Toyosato Elementary School, which is still in use.

Image from S2E25 - 17m46s

Up on 3F you can get pictures of this roof area too.

Girls und Panzer - Tank Club Shop

The Tank Club Shop in episode 2 of Girls und Panzer is based on a real place in Tokyo, so I went to have a look. The closest train station is Ichigaya Station. Image from Episode 2 - 09m12s The building still looks the same. Image from Episode 2 - 09m10s Unfortunately the shop itself, which was called Norimono Club in real life, closed down in 2017. It was run by the publisher Ikaros Publications which still is located here. Image from Episode 2 - 09m18s There's no buildings on the other side of the street in real life. Flying Witch - Pond

Another location shown in the first episode of Flying Witch is a small pond located at Tokiwano-noson Park. Image from Episode 1 - 17m01s It was cloudy when I visited so Mount Iwaki wasn't visible. Image from Episode 2 - 14m19s Around the pond I also saw what seemed to be bakke butterbur sprouts which was featured in the second episode of the show, although in a different location . Clannad After Story - New Hospital

I also visited the new hospital shown in the later episodes of Clannad After Story, not to be confused with the hospital Nagisa goes to when she's pregnant. Image from Episode 20 - 20m43s Image from Episode 21 - 08m55s The hospital is close to Kemigawahama Station in real life. You could walk here, but it's easier to take a bus. Image from Episode 21 - 10m03s It's called Chiba Kaihin Municipal Hospital, and not Hikarizaka General Hospital like in the anime. Image from Episode 21 - 10m06s I only saw one bench here and it didn't have a roof over it. Image from Episode 21 - 11m38s View towards the main entrance. Image from Episode 22 - 18m54s View of the hospital from the other side of the road. There's no park area here in real life. Image from Episode 21 - 10m49s There's no park area to the left of the hospital either, just more parking spots. Image from Episode 22 - 18m57s Fuko and Kouko outside the hospital.
