K-On - Shirakawa-dori Kitayama North

Next I visited the areas north of the Shirakawa-dori Kitayama crossroad. The closest train station is Shugakuin Station.

This is inside Yamabana Children's Park. This shot is actually flipped in the show.

Here's the picture like it is in real-life.

The apartment building on the left and this part of the Shirakawa-dori road is shown in several episodes.

Ritsu continues walking down the road.

Further down the road in the background here is the Shirakawa-dori Kitayama crossroad.

Yamabana Children's Park is located down the road to the left of the crossroad in front of Ritsu here.

I also got some more shots at the shopping street near Shugakuin Station.

Ritsu doesn't have much luck in the raffle drawing.

But Mugi manages to win. I've marked a path from Yamabana Children's Park, going past the apartment building, ending up at the shopping street entrance in the background here.

Your Name - Train Crossing

I also checked out a bunch of Your Name locations in Nagano, starting with the train crossing that was supposedly shown in the movie, which is located close to Otabe Station in real life. Image from Your Name - 10m56s This is the angle that seems to match the most compared to what was shown in the movie, but the screenshot is flipped and there's some elements missing. Image from Your Name - 10m56s This is the screenshot as shown in the movie. You can see the similar looking metal utility box in the picture here. Image from Your Name - 31m08s I also took a picture from the opposite side so the metal utility box position matches when the screenshot is flipped. Image from Your Name - 31m08s There's a sign with a 7 on it here, but it's not in the same location as in the movie. Image from Your Name - 31m08s I also took a picture from the road, then the metal utility box position matches, but the road and railway track is switched. Flying Witch - Manga Covers

Although I don't normally do manga locations, I did check out some of the locations shown on the Flying Witch covers this time. Flying Witch Cover 1 This is at a shrine named Gankisan Shrine. I've marked this location in the map below. Flying Witch Cover 2 This is at Hirosaki Park on the other side of the moat from the bench shown in the anime. Flying Witch Cover 5 This is at the entrance of the house where Nao lives . Flying Witch Cover 6 And finally, this is down by the river near the nursery school close to the bridge shown in the anime OP. Location map: These locations were visited on 2019/04/24 and 2019/04/25. The Eccentric Family - Hell

While visiting Arima Onsen , Yasaburo gets thrown into hell in The Eccentric Family. Some of the places shown in hell are located in Tokyo, so I went and had a look. Image from S2E6 - 04m51s This is the view from Shohei Bridge towards the west in Kanda-Sudachō near Akihabara. Image from S2E6 - 14m30s Yasaburo is next shown wandering around in Inokashira Park. Image from S2E6 - 14m33s This railway bridge got Keio Inokashira Line trains running on it. Image from S2E6 - 15m08s There's no ramen stand here like in the show. Image from S2E6 - 15m11s This is at the Keio Inokashira-kōen Station platform. There's more modern looking trains running here in real life. Image from S2E6 - 15m15s Closeup of the train doors. I've marked a path from the Shohei Bridge in Kanda-Sudachō to this station in the map below. Image from S2E6 - 15m21s Yasaburo runs towards the station. Image from S2E6 - 15m23s The station building is at the top of the stairs on the left here. Image from S2E6 - 15m28s...
