Flying Witch - Makoto and Chito Walk

In the same episode of Flying Witch in which we see Chinatsu following Chito, we also see Makoto and Chito walking through several locations in Hirosaki together.

Image from Episode 5 - 13m10s

This is at the same road where Chinatsu was following Chito at first. I've avoided any shots of this walk where it's the exact same background though.

Image from Episode 5 - 13m13s

Makoto runs up to Chito.

Image from Episode 5 - 13m16s

Makoto checks out the building Chito stares at.

Image from Episode 5 - 13m18s

And Chito explains why the building is interesting.

Image from Episode 5 - 13m58s

Chito then takes Makoto to the place with the dog.

Image from Episode 5 - 14m00s

Makoto isn't impressed.

Image from Episode 5 - 14m02s

And thinks that Chito shouldn't tease the dog.

Image from Episode 5 - 14m16s

They continue down the street.

Image from Episode 5 - 14m20s

But then the dog manages to get loose...

Image from Episode 5 - 14m22s

And chases after Makoto and Chito. Up the street to the left here you can actually see the building that Chito stared at, so they've circled around in real life.

Image from Episode 7 - 13m55s

The reverse view of the road where the dog chases after Makoto and Chito is shown in a later episode as well.

Image from Episode 7 - 13m53s

No flowers blooming at the utility pole in the last shot when I visited.

Image from Episode 5 - 14m31s

They manage to outrun the dog and stop at this bridge.

Image from Episode 5 - 14m27s

It's named Tochinai Bridge in real life too.

Image from Episode 5 - 14m41s

I couldn't get the exact same angle here, but you can see the houses in the background that matches.

Image from Episode 5 - 15m22s

Later in the episode Nao joins Makoto and Chito near this other bridge I visited before.

Image from Episode 5 - 17m10s

I missed this shot the last time I visited though, this is the view at the north east end of the bridge.

Image from Episode 5 - 17m15s

Makoto and Chito joins Nao for a delivery. On the left here there's a brown garage.

Image from Episode 5 - 17m22s

This building with the green roof is close to the shrine gate shown in the OP.

Image from Episode 5 - 17m26s

The brown garage is on the left here again. I've marked a path from Tochinai Bridge, going past the building with the green roof, ending up here in the map below. The other locations are the same as in the Chinatsu and Chito post and the bridge I visited before.

Image from Episode 5 - 17m30s

This is the view towards where the road forks near the bus stop. The house where Nao is making the delivery in the anime here has now been torn down in real life.

Location map:

These locations were visited on 2019/04/24 and 2019/04/25.

Special thanks to the ones who went here before:

The Eccentric Family - Hell

While visiting Arima Onsen , Yasaburo gets thrown into hell in The Eccentric Family. Some of the places shown in hell are located in Tokyo, so I went and had a look. Image from S2E6 - 04m51s This is the view from Shohei Bridge towards the west in Kanda-Sudachō near Akihabara. Image from S2E6 - 14m30s Yasaburo is next shown wandering around in Inokashira Park. Image from S2E6 - 14m33s This railway bridge got Keio Inokashira Line trains running on it. Image from S2E6 - 15m08s There's no ramen stand here like in the show. Image from S2E6 - 15m11s This is at the Keio Inokashira-kōen Station platform. There's more modern looking trains running here in real life. Image from S2E6 - 15m15s Closeup of the train doors. Sakura Miku - Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival

While in Hirosaki checking out all the Flying Witch locations, I also got a few pictures of the Sakura Miku and Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival collaboration. At Hirosaki Station they had a giant Sakura Miku poster at the location I saw the Flying Witch ad back in 2016. Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival poster and Sakura Miku wall scroll inside the tourism information office at the station. Ad with Sakura Miku and Takamaru-kun, the Hirosaki Castle mascot. Lots of Sakura Miku themed tourist maps of Hirosaki. If you wanted a Flying Witch map you had to ask. Sakura Miku decoration on the train station door. At Hirosaki Apple Park they had this cardboard cutout of Sakura Miku and Takamaru-kun. Long wall scroll inside the Apple Park shop. They had lots of Sakura Miku items for sale here. Including t-shirts. Clear files. Mobile batteries. And pin buttons. They also had lots of apple goods for sale. Including various drinks. And actual apples of course. While waking towards Hirosaki Park I...

Comic1 15

The final thing I checked out this time was Comic1 15. It's an event similar to Comiket , and just like Comiket it took place at Tokyo Big Sight. It's a smaller event, so I got a better place in the queue than at Comiket. Still plenty of people though. The Comic1 catalog was also the ticket, so you just held it up at the entrance to show that you had one. Since it was a smaller event it only used the west halls and none of the east halls. Both west hall 1 and 2 had circles selling doujins and goods. This is inside west hall 2. In west hall 4 they had a separate event called Character1 with corporate booths. In the Character1 area they had this big Nekopara TV anime ad. And some smaller ads for various other anime, figures and other stuff. Cardboard cutouts. Metallizing Art on display. At the Key booth they also had art. One of Kanade Tachibana from Angel Beats. They had a stamp rally at the Key booth for people who bought items too. In a corner of Character1 they had itasha o...
