Precure Pretty Store Osaka

While passing through Osaka I checked out the Pretty Cure store this time.

The store is located inside Abeno Q's Mall close to Tennōji Station and Ōsaka Abenobashi Station.

At the entrance they had this illustration with all the Cures on it.

And a life size statue of Cure Yell.

Lots of goods for sale in the store.

Including cups and cutlery.

Closeup of some of the cutlery.

Keychains and tote bags.

Closeup of the keychains.

Costumes and crayons.

Nightwear.

Plushies and purses.

More plushies and dolls.

And clothes. On the top of the shelves here they had different mascots including Mofurun, Candy and Pekorin.

More mascots including Fuwa and Sharuru.

In addition to the regular goods they also had a lot of limited goods here.

Including snacks.

Stickers and buttons.

Acrylic stands and keychains.

Halloween and Christmas goods.

And even jewelry. On the top right you can also see a shikishi sign board.

They also had other shikishi sign boards on display.

Other items on display included framed illustrations.

Another illustration with all the characters in their normal form.

And some cels.

Not sure if these are originals or just reproductions though.

There were also a photo corner where you could dress up and get your photo taken. In the back they also had cardboard cutouts of Cure Selene, Soleil and Milky.

One of Cure Cosmo.

And finally Cure Star.

Your Name - Train Crossing

I also checked out a bunch of Your Name locations in Nagano, starting with the train crossing that was supposedly shown in the movie, which is located close to Otabe Station in real life. Image from Your Name - 10m56s This is the angle that seems to match the most compared to what was shown in the movie, but the screenshot is flipped and there's some elements missing. Image from Your Name - 10m56s This is the screenshot as shown in the movie. You can see the similar looking metal utility box in the picture here. Image from Your Name - 31m08s I also took a picture from the opposite side so the metal utility box position matches when the screenshot is flipped. Image from Your Name - 31m08s There's a sign with a 7 on it here, but it's not in the same location as in the movie. Image from Your Name - 31m08s I also took a picture from the road, then the metal utility box position matches, but the road and railway track is switched. K-On - Kitano Tenmangū Revisit

Another place I revisited was the Kitano Tenmangū shrine . The easiest way to get there is to take a bus to Kitano Tenmangū-mae. Image from S2E4 - 06m54s The torii gate at the entrance. Image from S2E4 - 06m55s The same cow statue I saw last time I visited. Image from S2E4 - 06m57s And the tower gate. Image from S2E4 - 07m05s The purification font is in the middle here. Image from S2E4 - 07m06s The sign here is smaller in real life. Image from S2E4 - 07m20s The other cow statue that's shown in the anime... Image from S2E4 - 07m26s That Ritsu and Yui rubs. Image from S2E4 - 07m32s Nodoka is skeptical about what they're doing. Image from S2E4 - 07m36s Sawako spots Ritsu and Yui... Image from S2E4 - 07m37s And yells at them. Image from S2E4 - 07m40s Yui then spots... Image from S2E4 - 07m42s Another sign. Not sure if this is the exact same location as shown in the anime, but it was the closest matching one I could see. Haruhi Suzumiya - Ferry

In addition to checking out the port area of Tokushima I also took the Nankai ferry since it was shown in Haruhi Suzumiya. Image from Remote Island Syndrome Part 1 - 00m48s The ferry runs between Tokushima and Wakayama. Image from Remote Island Syndrome Part 1 - 04m13s Unfortunately the ferry that was shown in the anime was retired in 2007, so the one I took didn't match. Image from Remote Island Syndrome Part 1 - 04m33s There were some similarities though like these green sailcloth covered walkways. Image from Remote Island Syndrome Part 1 - 04m39s The seating areas outside were different. Image from Remote Island Syndrome Part 1 - 05m12s These rows of plastic chairs didn't match either. Image from Remote Island Syndrome Part 1 - 06m15s The insides were slightly more similar. Image from Remote Island Syndrome Part 1 - 06m18s Sitting area with vending machines.
