Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha - Inari Bridge

Inari Bridge and the areas around it is also shown in Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.

The map here is gone, but the JR signs are still the same.

Image from OVA - 08m00s

Inari walks across the bridge. The bridge was under renovations when I visited.

Image from OVA - 08m07s

Tanbabashi shows up.

Image from OVA - 08m16s

And tells Inari that Shiro is missing. There's a cat café in the building on the left now.

Another shot of the bridge. If you look closely you can see the JR sign on the left by the train crossing.

Image from Episode 1 - 13m06s

Tanbabashi is jogging down by the river. This is on the side where the cat café is located.

Image from Episode 1 - 13m07s

He gets confronted by Sanjou.

Since Inari is missing.

Image from OVA - 09m40s

The area down by the river is also shown in the OVA.

Image from OVA - 09m50s

Shiro and Kon is walking here.

Image from OVA - 10m06s

Shiro squeezes the tail to get Kon to help him.

Image from Episode 1 - 12m22s

Another place that's shown is this road. Inari bridge is to the left at the crossing, and the torii gate at the bottom of the school road is to the right.

Image from Episode 1 - 12m30s

The building that was here is now gone.

Image from Episode 1 - 12m40s

This is where Inari discovers that she's changed shape so she looks like Sumizome.

Image from OVA - 16m24s

This park, which is named Inari Park is located just across the street from the cat café.

Image from OVA - 19m24s

You can see the cat café across the street in this shot.

Image from OVA - 17m23s

The park has been changed since the anime was made, so some things no longer matches.

Image from OVA - 11m13s

Further down the street from the cat café and Inari bridge is this area. I've marked a path going from where Inari discovers that she's changed shape, past Inari bridge and Inari park, ending up here in the map below.

Image from Episode 1 - 14m30s

Closeup of the buildings with the blue and red awnings shown in the previous shot. If you look closely on the left you can spot a small bit of Fushimi-Inari Station.

Image from Episode 1 - 13m35s

Inari as Sumizome is standing in front of the building with the blue awning here. It was closed when I visited though.

Image from Episode 1 - 13m43s

Inari as Sumizome gets hit on by these guys.

The Eccentric Family - Hell

While visiting Arima Onsen , Yasaburo gets thrown into hell in The Eccentric Family. Some of the places shown in hell are located in Tokyo, so I went and had a look. Image from S2E6 - 04m51s This is the view from Shohei Bridge towards the west in Kanda-Sudachō near Akihabara. Image from S2E6 - 14m30s Yasaburo is next shown wandering around in Inokashira Park. Image from S2E6 - 14m33s This railway bridge got Keio Inokashira Line trains running on it. Image from S2E6 - 15m08s There's no ramen stand here like in the show. Image from S2E6 - 15m11s This is at the Keio Inokashira-kōen Station platform. There's more modern looking trains running here in real life. Image from S2E6 - 15m15s Closeup of the train doors. I've marked a path from the Shohei Bridge in Kanda-Sudachō to this station in the map below. Image from S2E6 - 15m21s Yasaburo runs towards the station. Sakura Miku - Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival

While in Hirosaki checking out all the Flying Witch locations, I also got a few pictures of the Sakura Miku and Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival collaboration. At Hirosaki Station they had a giant Sakura Miku poster at the location I saw the Flying Witch ad back in 2016. Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival poster and Sakura Miku wall scroll inside the tourism information office at the station. Ad with Sakura Miku and Takamaru-kun, the Hirosaki Castle mascot. Lots of Sakura Miku themed tourist maps of Hirosaki. If you wanted a Flying Witch map you had to ask. Sakura Miku decoration on the train station door. At Hirosaki Apple Park they had this cardboard cutout of Sakura Miku and Takamaru-kun. Long wall scroll inside the Apple Park shop. They had lots of Sakura Miku items for sale here. Including t-shirts. Clear files. Mobile batteries. And pin buttons. They also had lots of apple goods for sale. Including various drinks. And actual apples of course. While waking towards Hirosaki Park I...

Comic1 15

The final thing I checked out this time was Comic1 15. It's an event similar to Comiket , and just like Comiket it took place at Tokyo Big Sight. It's a smaller event, so I got a better place in the queue than at Comiket. Still plenty of people though. The Comic1 catalog was also the ticket, so you just held it up at the entrance to show that you had one. Since it was a smaller event it only used the west halls and none of the east halls. Both west hall 1 and 2 had circles selling doujins and goods. This is inside west hall 2. In west hall 4 they had a separate event called Character1 with corporate booths. In the Character1 area they had this big Nekopara TV anime ad. And some smaller ads for various other anime, figures and other stuff. Cardboard cutouts. Metallizing Art on display. At the Key booth they also had art. One of Kanade Tachibana from Angel Beats. They had a stamp rally at the Key booth for people who bought items too. In a corner of Character1 they had itasha o...
