Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha - Shrine Revisit

Since I was visiting Fushimi Inari Shrine again, I got some more Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha shots starting out at the lower areas. I also checked out the Okusha Hohaisho prayer building and the areas around the Neagari no Matsu.

This is along the street in front of Fushimi-Inari Station.

Image from OVA - 02m03s

The station is on the left here and the shrine on the right.

Image from Episode 1 - 08m48s

I got a better matching shot of this area with the fox statue than last time.

Image from Episode 10 - 23m04s

Hill leading up to the shrine. Past the torii gate is a building called Romon.

Reverse view down the hill. On the other side of the street at the bottom there's a convenience store.

Image from OVA - 20m58s

The convenience store seemed to be under some kind of renovations when I was here.

Image from Episode 4 - 05m00s

Back up the hill again. I went towards the left at the top here.

And I spotted these cardboard cutouts for the Hello World movie, identical to the ones I saw at the tourist information center in Uji a month earlier.

Image from Episode 3 - 10m15s

Side view of the Romon building through a different torii gate.

Image from Episode 6 - 09m42s

Touka walks up the stairs next to the Romon building.

Image from Episode 6 - 10m06s

And the gets followed by Uka. The building in the background is a different color in real life.

Image from Episode 6 - 10m14s

Touka doesn't like that Uka follows him. On the right here are some stairs.

Image from Episode 1 - 08m51s

Inari running towards the stairs.

Image from Episode 1 - 20m37s

And down again in the same episode. The building on the right that covers one of the fox statues wasn't there when the anime was made.

Image from Episode 1 - 20m40s

Inari is met by her friends.

Image from Episode 1 - 20m53s

Fox spirits watches Inari and her friends.

Reverse view of the fox spirits.

Then walking down the stairs...

Is Touka.

Image from Episode 1 - 21m16s

Asking Inari to come back home.

Image from Episode 1 - 21m30s

Tilting shot.

Image from Episode 1 - 21m32s

Of the torii gate here.

Image from Episode 10 - 19m42s

Slightly better matching shot of Inari walking through these torii gates than I got the last time.

Image from Episode 10 - 19m47s

Reverse view.

Image from Episode 10 - 19m52s

Inari heading down. The gates she walked though is on the top right here.

Image from Episode 10 - 19m59s

Inari's friends spots Inari heading down. This is where the fox spirits were shown in the earlier episode.

The Eccentric Family - Hell

While visiting Arima Onsen , Yasaburo gets thrown into hell in The Eccentric Family. Some of the places shown in hell are located in Tokyo, so I went and had a look. Image from S2E6 - 04m51s This is the view from Shohei Bridge towards the west in Kanda-Sudachō near Akihabara. Image from S2E6 - 14m30s Yasaburo is next shown wandering around in Inokashira Park. Image from S2E6 - 14m33s This railway bridge got Keio Inokashira Line trains running on it. Image from S2E6 - 15m08s There's no ramen stand here like in the show. Image from S2E6 - 15m11s This is at the Keio Inokashira-kōen Station platform. There's more modern looking trains running here in real life. Image from S2E6 - 15m15s Closeup of the train doors. I've marked a path from the Shohei Bridge in Kanda-Sudachō to this station in the map below. Image from S2E6 - 15m21s Yasaburo runs towards the station. Sakura Miku - Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival

While in Hirosaki checking out all the Flying Witch locations, I also got a few pictures of the Sakura Miku and Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival collaboration. At Hirosaki Station they had a giant Sakura Miku poster at the location I saw the Flying Witch ad back in 2016. Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival poster and Sakura Miku wall scroll inside the tourism information office at the station. Ad with Sakura Miku and Takamaru-kun, the Hirosaki Castle mascot. Lots of Sakura Miku themed tourist maps of Hirosaki. If you wanted a Flying Witch map you had to ask. Sakura Miku decoration on the train station door. At Hirosaki Apple Park they had this cardboard cutout of Sakura Miku and Takamaru-kun. Long wall scroll inside the Apple Park shop. They had lots of Sakura Miku items for sale here. Including t-shirts. Clear files. Mobile batteries. And pin buttons. They also had lots of apple goods for sale. Including various drinks. And actual apples of course. While waking towards Hirosaki Park I...

Comic1 15

The final thing I checked out this time was Comic1 15. It's an event similar to Comiket , and just like Comiket it took place at Tokyo Big Sight. It's a smaller event, so I got a better place in the queue than at Comiket. Still plenty of people though. The Comic1 catalog was also the ticket, so you just held it up at the entrance to show that you had one. Since it was a smaller event it only used the west halls and none of the east halls. Both west hall 1 and 2 had circles selling doujins and goods. This is inside west hall 2. In west hall 4 they had a separate event called Character1 with corporate booths. In the Character1 area they had this big Nekopara TV anime ad. And some smaller ads for various other anime, figures and other stuff. Cardboard cutouts. Metallizing Art on display. At the Key booth they also had art. One of Kanade Tachibana from Angel Beats. They had a stamp rally at the Key booth for people who bought items too. In a corner of Character1 they had itasha o...
