Pop Culture Hiroshima 2019

Since I was visiting Hiroshima I checked out Pop Culture Hiroshima 2019.

This event took place in the Hiroshima Prefectural Citizen's Culture Center.

Cardboard cutouts inside the Culture Center.

They held various performances on this stage.

Including an anisong karaoke competition.

And performances from Actor’s School Hiroshima students.

In the nearby Sunmall shopping mall they also had a small doujin event called Aki-Comi 2019.

I also took some pictures of some cosplayers I saw, including this Nico from Love Live cosplayer.

Rem from Re:Zero.

Saber from Fate.

And Madoka and Homura from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

Event flyers for both Pop Culture Hiroshima 2019 and Aki-Comi 2019.

No location map since it's no longer there.

This location was visited on 2019/04/14.

Your Name - Shinkaisansya Shrine

The kagura-den stage shown in Your Name is supposedly based on one located at Shinkaisansya Shrine in real life. The closest train station is Usuda Station, but it's quite far and there's no rental bicycle places nearby, so it might be better to rent a car to get here. Image from Your Name - 14m48s In real life the back of the stage is seen from this angle instead of the front. Image from Your Name - 15m00s Since the position of the stage isn't the same it's difficult to match this shot. Image from Your Name - 15m03s The insides of the roof is different here.
